Success Stories

Phillip P.

Phillip has been in our Day Habilitation “Without Walls” Program since September 2008.  During Phillip’s time at our Brooklyn-2 site, he worked on his vocational skills while volunteering at PETCO and at the Library.  Phillip was able to hone the skills that he acquired with as a Day Habilitation participant and use them to find employment with the help of the ESEMP program. Phillip worked closely with his Job Developer/Job Coach and eventually secured a job at Applebee’s! Phillip is currently working in the kitchen where he is part of a full team of food service and maintenance as you can see from the picture; Phillip is having a great time at work!
